Botanical Garden Eco Tour with Cacao Discovery Process

Embark on an enchanting Botanical Garden & Cacao Discovery Eco Tour, where the richness of tropical nature and the traditions of cacao come together in a truly immersive experience.

Guided by knowledgeable locals, you will journey through lush rainforests and vibrant botanical gardens, discovering a remarkable diversity of plant life, from exotic flowers to towering trees. Along the way, keep an eye out for wildlife such as monkeys, toucans, sloths, poison dart frogs, tropical butterflies, and a wide variety of birds that inhabit this 30-acre paradise.

Throughout the tour, you will gain insight into the cultivation and transformation of cacao, while learning about the ecological importance of the surrounding environment. You will also discover the cultural significance of native plants within the Indigenous Ngäbe community.

This educational and enriching experience lasts approximately 2 to 3 hours and offers a meaningful connection to nature, local traditions, and the world of cacao. The tour concludes with a tasting of locally crafted chocolate and cacao-based products.

Daily tours are available at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Reservations are required.

After the experience, you will have the opportunity to purchase locally made chocolate and delicacies directly from the producers.
