Waterfall Expedition

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Panama

VENTURE OFF THE BEATEN PATH TO A JUNGLE TREASURE

Waterfall Expedition

Leave the familiar behind and journey deep into the heart of the Ngäbe-Buglé comarca to discover one of Panama’s most hidden natural treasures — a majestic waterfall nestled in the mountains, where nature reigns untouched.

This full-day experience begins with a peaceful boat ride, followed by a scenic drive, and then a guided mountain hike through lush jungle terrain. The hike takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes round-trip, with some moderate challenges along the way — but every step brings you closer to something extraordinary.

Guided by members of the local Ngäbe community, you’ll be invited to connect with their land, culture, and traditions. As you walk through this sacred and remote environment, far from any cell signal or city noise, you’ll feel the deep, grounding presence of Mother Earth.

At the end of the trail, a breathtaking waterfall pours into a crystal-clear natural pool — a sacred space to swim, relax, and let yourself be renewed by nature’s purest gift.

After your swim, you’ll be welcomed back with a traditional Ngäbe meal, lovingly prepared on-site by your hosts. This authentic meal is included in the price of your experience and reflects the simplicity, flavor, and deep connection to the land that defines the Ngäbe culture.
